Christina, shared a wonderful LinkedIn workshop with Greater Club members. She inspired me to just start sharing on LinkedIn, and convinced me of the value of it. I admire Christina’s energy and passion for sales and I can see she walks the talk! Thank you Christina, I enjoyed getting to know you.

 

“I attended a training course with Christina on how to build my network for business. It’s really an eye opener for me, because all these years my business is done through offline referrals, works well but I wanted to try something new.

Didn’t know LinkedIn can be such a good resource to rapidly know more people and engage them in a meaningful way! Christina also shared examples of how to craft messages to engage with these “strangers” rapidly.

I got to know Christina through LinkedIn and have been following her posts since the beginning of this year. She is a down to earth and humble person. This can be seen through her LinkedIn posts, interactions and I feel that we have common values. I attended her LinkedIn webinars regularly and read about success stories of her coaching sessions by some LinkedIn connections.

I transited from in house HR to HR consultancy, handling talent acquisition, work pass processing service and HR services. I wanted to grow my sales by having more clients. Due to covid19, I faced challenges in cold calling and acquiring new clients. Business development, which has been new area for me, has been slow.

During our 1st meet up session in early April 2022, my intention was to put the name to the face for both parties. She was asking me about my sweet spots and challenges in my business, which I shared with her. A casual discussion spurred me to explore 1-1 coaching with her.

Thereafter, I felt it that her coaching service was relevant and decided to engage her as my sales coach. From learning the putting her advice into practice, everything went well and fast. The following Monday, we started our 1st session and completed the last session on 06 Jun 2022, as scheduled.

Throughout the sessions, I learnt about Strategic Business planning, time optimisation, more on LinkedIn branding, turning leads into sales, cold calling and presentations. Christina was able to cater to my specific requirements/needs. I had improved on my LinkedIn branding, gained more confidence in my LinkedIn marketing of services), cold calling and content in presentation skills. I could translate the content immediately into email blasts and LinkedIn marketing posts to my potential clients.

Now that I have completed the series, I will apply the skills learnt and update Christina regularly regarding prospects, closed deals and revenue on every fortnight. We will do a year-on-year comparison by Dec 2022 and Dec 2023. This is good accountability to drive me to strive for personal and organisational growth!

Christina is a living example of how one should view approach sales. For anyone who is looking for a mentor, I highly recommend her!

I engaged Christina to learn more about personal branding and to expand my BD capabilities. She packaged a LinkedIn Branding Fundamentals workshop in it as well and it did help in understanding how to use the LI platform and work its algorithms.

What I liked working with Christina, was that she was very clear and took me through step by step from defining strategy and getting clarity on who, what, where and why certain connections with people are pursued. It was very intentional and strategic.

Christina was a very hands-on sales coach as well as she will arrange to go with me to quite a few trade fairs / shows / events to practice on how to do BD or network, and how to talk to the booth staff and filter out and get information to connect with the right people (BD or or decision makers. She also showed how to do market sensing of areas that I wanted to look into for BD and to assess and identify competition and how to reframe as supporting strengths.

Overall she is very authentic and sincere, and what I like is that when she found out I was a fellow Christian as well, she would share from her faith and sometimes just pray and ask God for wisdom because we may have tried everything. My journey with her has really been very fruitful and I have gained much learning from her rich sales and BD experience and I would recommend her services to help individuals or teams looking to develop their capabilities in sales and business development.
